My Stuffed Toy

I ran to the blue object and hid my face in its soft fur. Ahhh, it’s so good to be home I used to say when I was a kid. Now what I am talking about used to be my favorite toy in the whole wide world. It was a huge teddy and not only was it a huge teddy, it was really soft and I used it whenever I watched a TV show or just wanted to relax. The blue giant was always something I used everyday and would miss it when I went to school or went outside. I don’t think there was any other toy which I used more than this, the moments I shared with this toy were unforgettable. As I started getting older the toy started to lose my interest and just took space and collected dust. And in 2-3 years we thought there was no use of it and just thought of throwing it away. As my dad put it in the trunk its face was staring at me, it looked like  it was waving me goodbye. As the car started I remembered all the good times I had with it and  wanted it back, but another part of me knew I was too old for it and it was time we parted ways. Now it’s been 3 year since I lost it and do I regret it? Well, not really. Cause I knew that I was too old for a soft toy. But always remember you can grow old for toys, but toys will never grow old for you.

  1. Can I just say what a comfort to discover somebody that genuinely understands what theyre talking about over the internet. You certainly realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important. More and more people must read this and understand this side of your story. Its surprising you are not more popular because you certainly possess the gift.
