He had come to the fact that he would probably never see Earth again. But as time passed, he began to adapt to his new surroundings. He rationed his food and water carefully, and using his scientific brain he made the most of his limited resources. He set up experiments to study the soil and atmosphere. Despite the isolation, Bob felt happy about what he has done. He knew that his findings could contribute to the knowledge of the planet and help future exploration. He also found a way to communicate with Earth via messages. As the days turned into weeks and the weeks turned into months, Mark began to feel like he was a resident on the red planet. He would often sit outside, staring up at the night sky, feeling a sense of wonder would lurk him about the vastness of the universe. He knew that he was just a tiny thing on an insignificant planet. Despite the challenges, Mark felt happy for the opportunity he has been given to explore the plane which no one has ever done. He felt a sense of pride in his contribution to the field of space exploration. Though he missed his home, family, and friends, he felt content in the knowledge that he had accomplished something truly remarkable, something that will be remembered for a long time.
