How long is the book and how many chapter
This book is about 270 pages of pure adventure and fiction. The book is divided into 35 chapters each chapter is close to 16 pages long. It might seem this is a short book but the pages are pretty long. It is also a wordy book, so keep checking all the words you find in your way. My opinion is to keep a dictionary or a phone beside you to check all the words. Make a google doc or take a notebook and write all the new words you find.
About this book
On the banks of the Mississippi river, a 12 year old boy called Tom Sawyer lives. He lives with his aunt and his half-brothers and sisters. He is not a fan of going to school and when he does go, he does mischievous things that get him into trouble. His favorite thing is to play hooky with his friends. He thought of becoming an outlaw when he started thinking that no one liked him. He and his 2 friends, Huckleberry Finn and Joe Harper became pirates and started roaming the world looking for treasure.
Who will like this book and who will not
If you are the type of guy who likes books with fewer pictures, this can be the book for you. If you read books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid or Big Nate and like reading those types of books, you might just like the book. If you read the About this book section, you can tell that this book is about a boy who is like Greg or Nate as all of them have one thing in common. They like to do mischief and they don’t like school. Tom Sawyer does not have as many pictures as the other 2 books, but still it has some humor and adventures about the boy. If books with a bit of love interest you. You might just like this book. There is not a big love story, just a teeny-tiny one. It goes like this, Tom Sawyer likes this girl called Becky Thatcher. They start liking each other, but one time Tom said that he used to like a girl long ago. That made Becky sad and broke up with him. Tom is trying to win her heart back. It is a pretty interesting story about a 12 year old boy and his adventures. Mark Twain has written the story pretty well with some ups and downs. In my opinion you should read the book as it is pretty good.
